Changes rules on the fly

I was told when I signed for this loan that I would be eligible for one deferral per year. I have had 2 and now in my 4th year and they are now telling me that they only allow 1 per term. The customer service is horrible. They also used to have the option to take autopay off if you were going to be late a day or 2 and now they say that they do not do this. That is untrue. So this company changes rules and regulations as they please. This is no way to run a company. The owner of Tricor owns the car dealership I purchased my vehicle from. What Tricor is doing is making nobody want to buy from any dealer that uses their service. I love my vehicle, I just don't love this company. Rude and heartless individuals.

Car Buyer Awareness for Extended Warranty

I was sold a Tricare extended warranty by Ford dealership back in 2020 and realized now making a claim for repair or rental car is very hard. Even Ford dealership refuse to call Traicare to make a claim because the deductible for claim is high and the rates are much lower than actual market rates. Their Customer Service is not responsive.Very poor performance, I feel I have been scammed by Jubilee Ford at Saskatoon for selling me this non-sence extended warranty that covers nothing!!! Try to avoid it !!

I needed roadassitance on 23-Dec-2023 at 12 am and tried to call the road assisstance sevice but no one answer the phone then I hot the CAA membership and they just helped me. It is really frustrating to pay the money every month and no service when you need it

Deferral of Payments

My mother who is 76 and needed a deferral for medical reasons was denied because over her 7 YEAR term she has too many. Her car is also going to be paid off in 9 months and they would not grant the deferral. She did send them and email and they did say you can as long as you pay 50 fee and she agreed and then they denied it within mins. So sad this is how they treat people.

My brake system seized on a Saturday. Could not have any roadside assistance. They couldn't find my file. 2 days later after multitude calls, and calling also the dealership where I bought the Ultimate protection, they finally found it. Too late! 1 month later, I had my air conditioning system broke, unlucky time, and brought my car to a GM Cadillac dealership in Sherbrooke. Tricor told the dealership that they were not recognized as a service centre. When I contacted Tricor by text, they refer me at to an on-line mechanic for $2 (refundable) without any choices! I paid enough for the protection already!!! I really regret to have bought a Tricare - Tricor Ultimate at $5,200 and can't have any help. None! At least in Quebec we have customer protection by law and will go to court. That will happen for sure!

Unsatisfactory customer service

These are a bunch of clowns. I paid off my loan in a substantial amount and can't get them to give me a lean release for 7 days putting my sale on the vehicle in jeopardy. Never will I use them under any circumstances

I have been trying to settle my payment. Asking them to change my payment days. Was told to call my agent on a specific day, left several messages, and that never got back to me. They tell you to do one thing, and they go against what they say and never get back to you. Trcor finance and leasing is a very immature company and needs to be looked at bye the government or RCMP.

I have seen bad reviews regarding Tricor on this account; however mine is quite different. Tricor, now that its in a new system has been phenomenal. Rarely have to wait for calls and everything is quick and simple with them. I definitely recommend now, seem up to date n good at least for me, its 100% better than the company i used to finance with.

For the last 3 years, I've had no problems requesting pay off quotes and changing direct deposit information for my car loan. Recently, I decided to pay off my car. After sending the money, I asked for a copy of the lien release. It's been a week and I'm start to getting annoyed and anxious - I want to know the money was received and the car paid off! Customer service needs to be more responsive.

Under Ontario PPSA rules you can be remunerated by the finance company if they do not discharge the lien within 30 days of the date payout was received.

Cause of action for breach of contract in a binding agreement. I told my problem about being overbilled that my contract stated payments will be every 14 days commencing on the 17th the individual named Mario told me that it was all right to be billed 11 days apart. I informed him that my contract says 14 days he said no that 11 days is OK. I reiterated it just to be clear and I told him he was being recorded and he immediately got flustered try to change what he said and demanded that i stop recording at once, Then he hung up on me I called back to speak with Alan I explained the same thing that I was being overbilled I overheard two men in the background saying my name and phone number then I asked for a manager to please call me and I was told the manager will call me within the hour and she never did
